So, I'm in the UP this weekend filling up with gas. As I'm filling up, I notice these people(mostly ski-doo revs) pumping their throttles and braaaping their cans to move ten feet to the gas pump.

Is it an attention thing, or is it necessary to make a lot of noise? I usually just ease into the throttle not to draw attention to myself. Does braaaping make you cool these days?

Fail

Excuse me? Not to turn this into a great debate here, but a pipe WILL give you both of those. A can/silencer on the other hand will give you weight loss...probably not much in the power department...

thats what i do. ill just be cruising around my back yard then stop, and just feather the throttle so it purrs.

So you shouldnt blip the throttle going into the gas station, leaving, or going away on the trail. I cant wait til the next generation has to deal with you whiners once you get old.

I blip my throttle when theres other people and traffic just to make sure they see me. I want to make sure they know Im there so they dont hit me. Because no matter whos at fault the person on a snowmobile is gonna be the one getting hurt. I also blip my throttle going up the road at random times, hoping if someone is backing out of their driveway with 6ft snowbanks they will hear me coming and wait a little.

Braaaaping as you would call it is a safety feature just like a snowflap

good point mjay, im no supporter of others or even myself acting obnoxious, but i sometimes find my self, whether it s on the sled the streetbike or even my truck making noise to draw attention in crowed or public situations, because other people scare the crap outa me.. especially old people. i have learned not to assume somebody see's me even if thier staring right at me!

I wasn't trying to offend anybody by making this thread. I just think it's hilarious that people braap their can ten times to move ten feet at a gas station!

HERE'S YOUR ANSWER:

If you have a high engagement it makes it hard to give it low steady gas because once it starts to move it's already at 5000+ rpms.

its just the piece of junk no power twin riders that have to do it, since they know they have no power under the hood they have to buy a can to make it sound like they have power, if they all had triples they wouldnt need to brap them all the time because they would sound good already, and they would have power so they wouldnt have to make noise for attention. junk twins.

You can't keep making post like this, next thing you know everybody's gonna be on a triple!

Please stop this douchebaggery about big bad triples and what not. twin, triples who cares. If you dont like hearing other sleds then stay in your back yard. If somebody wants to be a retard burning flat spots in their belt then let them. Not your problem.

P.S I have destroyed many triples with my bone stock sno pro 440
