So, this summer, i'm going to be putting some 6 or 8 inch Risers on my 1999 ZL 500. i just can't stand sitting down for too long, and when i stand, it hurts my back having to bend over and hold onto the handlebars. i'm about 5' 10". But i'm done growing so i dont think i'll get much taller. So i'm just wondering what the best road to take is? i know i'll need extensions on my throttle/brake lines with a 6-8 inch, no matter what way i route the cables. right now i'm just looking for reliable brands, that aren't too expensive. but reasonable.

Kyle is right,
at 6 to 8 inches you are going to be extending those as well.
It's not that difficult.
I use 18 gage wire, automotive butt connectors and shrink wrap.
Extend them 1 at a time so that you don't cross wires.
You are looking at probably 5 wires and about 15 - 20 minutes to do that step right.

A good clean set up for that machine would be the Skins bars in any height you like.
You would be looking at the bars, cable, brake line, and grip heaters.
I have them at www.gravityworxracing.com
Take a look and see if there is something you like and I'll do a package deal for you.
