burning too much fuel started by wagonburner

I have a 96 polaris xcr 600 just put a 700 motor in it went 22 kilometers and burnt a tank of gas anybody have any suggestions why

are you still running the 600 carbs? if so make sure they are clean and in sync, also check and find out what main jets you have and make sure there the right ones for the 700.

no the carbs came with the motor what size of jets should they be

don't have a fuel line leaking do you? like one that the seat foam is soaking up

it is impossible for that motor to burn tank of fuel in 22 km.fuel has poured out of it somewhere.

i agree...my 600 isnt good on fuel but i can get 90 miles on a tank youve got a good size leak man
