i was unloading my sled and didt realize the parking brake was on. i got it off my truck and drove it for like 10 feet, then realized what was wrong. but now when it takes off it jerks like the brake is stuck or the clutch is stuck. idk what to do...any ideas on whats wrong besides the fact that im an idiot???

You probably burnt your belt. If there's a narrow spot burnt in the belt, it could make it jerky. Put your spare belt on and see what happens.

also, if your brake pad broke, the pad may have wedged its self against the disk.

ya i checked the pads but they were both fine. but it seems like the brake disc stops at teh same point everytime. and it looks like maybe the brake pads arent releasing all the way?? idk.

If the spare belt fixes it you might as well throw the other one in the trash.

I'd say most likely a burnt belt.

I think almost everyone has done it once. I wish all sleds had a parking brake like the Yamaha's. It's almost impossible to miss.

Get a spare and carry it too when you ride.
You'd be really surprised to see how many times I've seen people get towed out when a spare belt with them would have fixed it.
