i have thought since i bought my sled that it is a 93 polaris Indy trail 488 fan cooled. just a trail not deluxe. well i cannot find any websites with specs that match my sled to that year, or any year for that matter. another thing that makes me wonder is i can never find my exact sled in parts books. is there a way i can tell from the vin?
heres what i know for sure.
488 f/c
121 track
grey and green factory colours.
oil, acc, and high beam light(almost positive it doesnt have a templight)
factory hand warmers.
speedo tach.
the one thats really been throwin me for a loop is the lights. all the lists says that the trail sleds(91-94) should have temp light. and mine doesnt
not that it really matters, but i would like to know for sure. my reg says 93 btw.
 1993 indy trail

Its a 93.
http://polarisman.com/site/DisplayModel....&Year=1993
Wait, something is wrong, that link has info for a long track, that site isnt always accurate. Sorry, i didnt realize that. Im still gona guess its a 93 right now tho
Ok, that has to be a 93, the colors, and designs on the hood tell me its a 93. As far as the temp light, it could very well have been replace with something from another sled, like the gauge pod, or the gauge, depengin where that light should be. That sled is older, you have no idea what has been done to it before you got it, i dont think so atleast.

Yes it is a 93 according to the decals on the hood. The temp light probably only came on the liquid cooled models.

No Indy Trail that I am aware of had a temp light.
If the model number on the tunnel is 0930761, it is a '93 Indy Trail. Like others have said, the hood and graphics are a '93.
