I can't seem to see any coolant anywhere around the engine. I noticed about 1/4 through my ride yesterday the coolant was low so I filled it. I rode about 50 miles and it was low again to I topped it off. I again rode about 50 miles and when I was done I parked it in the garage and no coolant was lost. I was excited but just in case I marked the level and when I went out this morning it was down about 2 inches in the resevoir. No signs anywhere of where it could have gone. Any thoughts and what I might want to look for? If coolant is getting into the cylinders should the plugs be discolored at all?

Thanks

Was there any coolant under the sled this morning? Also when you park it hot it will go down a bit as it cools. Does it foam up and come out the overflow as you ride? This would indicate a bad head gasket.

if you dont see any coolant anywhere It is possible it is the base gasket I have done several with this issue sometimes you can smell the coolant in the exhaust sometimes not good luck keep us updated

Alright if the base gasket is bad where is the coolant going and how can I check it? If the head gasket is gone will the white smoke be all the time or just when I first start it up. The is a little white smoke when I first start it but after running it a little around the yard it disappeared. I thought it was normal to smoke some until it warmed up.

There is no sign of coolant any where. I have looked and looked and can't find anything. I think that I might go for a small ride today to see what happens and if the level contimues to drop.

The spark plugs look normal, actually kind of dirty and if there was a leak into a cylinder shouldn't they be real clean looking?

Thanks for all the pointers
