I have to replace a bulb on my 98 xc 700 tail light (wrap around). how do I get the lens out? I removed all of the screws, and it dont move a bit.

It should pop right off if you removed all the screws (4) there might be a rubber seal thats sticking.

Def is the rubber seal. I took mine off 2 weeks ago and it took like 10 min to work the lens off. I started at the back and worked around to the side very carefully. Warming it up might help a little too, like a hair dryer or sumthin like that.

Seems like from the factory,Polaris put some glue on the seal. Like mentioned above, take it slow an work your way around it so you don't end up breaking it.

Agreed, there must be something causing it to stick, because it should just come off once the screws are removed.

Check Luke's thread reply out, I did the bulbs on a '97 SPX SE, '98 XC700, and more former '03 600 touring. The key is to get a hair dryer out and heat the area around the gasket of the lens cap, it will peel off like Butter!!!

did the hair dryer trick, worked great. I got the lenses off without breaking them. I found if you take the middle one out first it help in prying out the outer lenses.
