I am considering upgrading to a new 09 600 possibly es but would like to hear a little about them? Does anyone have anything good, bad or ugly to say about them? How would it compare to my 05 xc 700?

Thanks

i have the 2009 600 iq shift and love it. its all stock for this season, but with a few add ons over the summer this sled will scream crazy mad, right now it will keep up with my edge x for awhile, as far as comparing this to your 05,the 09 handling is better alot lighter this 600 iq will pull the skis right up and i weigh 180lbs at 6ft. tall. good luck i don't think you will be disappointed. if you can go with the 136" i only have the 121" wish i would've went longer>

2001 600 edge X almond spring on primary with 60gm wieghts, s&s rumble pack, gutted air box 6" woodys doolys carbides,196 woodys 1 1/4" studs

2009 600 IQ shift all stock still a virgin!! not for much longer

i got my first new sled this year iq shift 136.NOT HAPPY.this thing has a bad bog at about 7000 rpm.apparently im not the only one with this issue.the dealer sed he has to wait for polaris to send him a re-flash for the cdi or something and will have to change the helix and some spring in the clutch.the most i can get out of this is 84 mph and i need a lot of lake to get to 84.do they not test ride sleds before the hit the showroom floor.any one else have one of these sleds with the same issues?.should have got a cat.it has the cfi2 not the carb like the 121 shift.

I just financed an 09 Shift 600 and i absolutely love it! Sled pulls hard and puts out great power. Nice and light, easy to throw around. Very good handling however it has lots of ski lift when coming out of corners but that can be fixed with adding rear couplers. I believe they only come with the front couplers if you know what i mean. Only other complaint is the .91 track but it still does well. Just could use that extra .25 of a lug. But can't complain to much for the price! You'll love it!

Before I continue, if I don't keep this sled for the whole season, I promise to never sign on to Snowmobile Fanatics again.
