Leaking gas - Leaking gas from by the filler hole started by bassdocktor

	This has been a problem since I got my sled last year. It's a 2000 500 xcsp. Everytime the gas tank is atleast 3/4 full gas seems to come out of the 2 little vent holes by the filler hole. There is enough coming out where the top of the tank and my seat start to look pretty messy. Any ideas on what I can do? My dad has the 500xc and there is a ring/cover around his filler. However, the other xcsp I've looked at all don't have this piece. Rating: 0 Quick Edit Edit Topic

	Thanks Indy but it's not the cap. There are actually 2 little vent holes on either side of the filler neck. So I know it's not the cap. It almost seems like there should be some kind of cover around the neck. Rating: 0 Quick Edit Full Edit
