Today my homie TJ and I “played hookie” from
#$%& work and went for a KILLER ride up by
Mt Bachelor.

It all started at Wanoga Sno Park.

Since it was Tuesday afternoon, there were
only a couple more rigs in the parking lot.

The trails were perfectly groomed (no bumps)
with about 8 inches of fluffy POW over the top.

Perfect riding conditions!!!

We got up to "Moon Mountain" and it was a
full-on "WHITE OUT" blizzard. We were right
next to Moon Mountain but couldn't see it!

This is what it usually looks like up on Moon Mtn >>>

No worries, after snapping a couple pics we
just rode it anyway.

It was snowing so hard and the wind was
kicking up fast so we juked Moon Mountain
and headed down FS 370 towards Todd Lake.

TJ almost rolls the M8 >>>

OK, after Todd Lake we swung right on
Cascade Lakes Highway and headed towards
Elk Lake Resort.

Highways are boring so we decided to do a
little "BOONDOCKIN'" in the woods. >>>

OK, enough Boondockin. Monkey is hungry!
So off to Elk Lake Resort we go >>>

Finally we arrive at Elk Lake Resort >>>

Elk Lake Resort is awesome. Great food too! >>>

I had the "Chili Cheese Frys" - the chili had
elk meat in it. YUMMY!!! Best fries EVER!!! >>>

TJ had chicken strips and onion rings >>>

After eating at Elk Lake Resort we rode the
Power Line Trail we like to ride on Motorcycles.

It was great! Full of new POW and up and down
hills like a ROLLER-COASTER. Great fun!

Then we hit the trails up to Kwohl Butte and
hauled booty back to Wanoga Sno Park.

EPIC RIDE!!!

THE END

Oh, yeah. I forgot to post pics from last weekend's
Paulina Lake ride. Here they are... >>>
