guys think a 155 would be too much track for up there? i'm not one that is interested in putting on 100 miles in a day. point me to the deep snow and say go and i'm gone

I will be on a 144 or 146 next year! Its all a matter of snow conditions. I have seen lots of 155's around the back country up there!

I was uot there on my 144x1.5 last year and still logged over 200 mile at the sf ride. I had no issues with slider or overheating even running along some of those plowed roads.

cheers

I wasn't quite as beat as Fetus so I'm at work. Thanks for a great weekend to all that were there. Thanks again Wallygator for convincing me to stick with the ride on Sat morning. The sled ran great when it counted, I just wish it hadn't used so much gas in the single cylinder mode. Thanks Zoo for leading the way down 2 on Sunday. I'm glad we all missed the big pine laying across the road. I'm looking forward to next year.
Oh yeh, Bart, we missed you but I had company at the back of the pack

Bear1, It was definitely hard not being there this weekend Just ask my wife how much I brought it up this weekend I'm claiming now that this year will be a better year and I will be back next year Once again I will hang toward the rear of the pack That way if I have any problems hopefully I won't take anyone else with me

right in town. my parents house backs up to the carols woods. my house is about six blocks to the south....just off chippendale.

thats a big paddle....conditions are perfect for it up there right now. our crew should all have paddles but we do pretty good with the shortys.

So do I :P At least the cabin was a little cleaner this time it sounds like? haha! We could tell it was gonna be trouble when one of em started talking to thezoo and stole a piece of pizza from him. Tanked would be the word.

Anyway, good times again.

Oh, and thezoo you were right on on blazing the trail down 1 and 2 back to two harbors. Saw at least one tree you musta moved off the road!

Ripperd, your first post summed it up pretty good! Our crew had a great time riding with and showing a few of you around the back country. Soooooo many areas and to little time to cover even a handfull. Well I guess we have to save some spots for later in the season.

So she took pizza from theZoo before heading out. She had a few drinks that night. All in good fun!

That is not the first time we have run across Grease and the guys in that back country spot.

Great seeing SF ride veterines, and meeting a few of the newcomers. I think next year will be the 5th annual.

It sure is good to hear everyone had a good time and made it home safely also. Even though I travel 250 miles one way to ride that area I feel it is worth every penny to get there

I also have to say thanks to those that have included me in their thanks to putting on a good ride but I was only the tail gunner bringing up the rear. Greasemonkey and Wallygator get most of the credit in my book!

We did manage to ride in just about every condition we have experienced in the past and am glad some of the Fanatics ride "rookies" had a great time and survived the experiance. Here are a few pics of mine to contribute since most others have similar shots.....

I loved all the pictures from the North Shore trail...making me want to get up there and ride! It's been too long since I've been there, but remember it well and know the exact spots on many of the photos posted.

Thanks!

I just wanna say thanks again to everyone for an awesome ride. I was supprised that i only got stuck twice, im a powder junkie with a short track. There is a ton of snow up in that area as well.

some of the pictures look funny cuz my camera was on some setting, i didnt figure it out till the last trail shot. the camera only liked the color yellow

Rick was trying to be sneaky with his camera, but as you can see I was well aware of what was happening...

I guess I forgot to say thanks to everyone who was there and I had a great time. Sitting at home, very bored right now, wishing I was still there since our snow is all garbage now.
