Cant wait for this summer! my lawnmower is ready to be raced. last i checked its top end speed it was hitting 45 mph(stock motor other than exaust, the only real change was pulleys) on my last race i flipped it over backwards when i poped the clutch a bit to hard
so this winter i ported and polished it,and changed up the pulley ratio a bit.although i did lose a bit of low end grunt i managed to get 5 mph on top end! so for right now im just playing around on my ice oval.
if your intrested in starting a build and have any questions i would be happy to answer them for you!
here it is last year, only differance in looks is a hood scoop but i dont have pics of it yet.

There is nothing more satisfying than speed. Speed is addictive, remember you can only go faster.

I still have to fix my front axle on mine yet before spring. I was hoping to rebuild the motor over the winter but I'm not so sure it's going to happen. It's an absolute blast to drive. I never got around to taking pictures of it in its completed state or any action shots but as soon as it warms up around here I'll get to it.

My uncle has a mower totally decked out for tractor pulling. It has a 600 Polaris triple in it!

Our FFA chapter is thinking about putting a 650 motorcyle engine into a lawn mower. The only down side is it will take like 3 years. We have 2 tractor pull tractors we have been building for 5 years and they still need alot.
