I wanted to give a shout-out to Madcow for hooking me up with Aaen pipes and clutch kit for my Polaris Ultra. He beat all prices online for the pipes, by a lot. He also tuned the clutches and gearing to get it to pull hard for ditches and trails. Boy o' boy did he ever succeed. That thing just about pulls my arms off. Thanks for the great job Madcow!

A review of the pipes in a word: awesome. I wanted the power the pipes delivered but I didn't want them to be obnoxiously loud. They are that. On idle they burble great and when you are ΒΌ-3/4 on the throttle they harmonize and amazingly reduce noise. They also seem to be robust. Initially, we had it jetted perfect for 10 degrees and the sled ran great. The next time we played with it was 35 and it still ran great.

We then installed the Tempa-Flow. It's still running rich and I'm getting that dialed in.

All in all it's a whole new sled.

woodbooga: (WOOD-boog-ah), n. regional dialect, common to areas of New Hampshire and Maine including the towns of Ossipee, Alton, Farmington, Acton, and Lebanon; one who attempts to obtain free firewood to fuel woodburning appliances in an effort to mitigate expenses related to home heating with fossil fuels. Frequently used as a term of derision by non-woodburners who mock the presence of loose bark and other wood waste in the beds of their pickup trucks.

Madcow is a standup guy. He can normally beat other prices if you give him the chance to.

When hell freezes over I'll ride there too!!
