I wouldnt ever own a snowmobile without them. On my mxzx i had a 5in riser with flat bars and it was great but at times i would of loved another inch or 2. On my mxz 500 i had a 3 in riser on it and it was great for trail riding in the rough.

Mine are just right for when Im standing. I can grab my bars without having to bend my back and it gives mr great leverage when I really need the sled to do something. It isnt very comfortably when Im sitting, but I hardly ever sit. I think they are a total of 4" over stock at the controls.

I have an 8in riser it is perfect for my riding style. 30% trails 50% boondocking and 20% ditch banging.

My pic isn't that great but you can see the riser.

I don't have any pics. But on my 98 XC 700 I went with a 3" riser and that worked out perfectly for me. Trails I'm sitting upright, and standing I'm not hunched over. I also added 90 degree hooks and a grab bar.

Yea its and 8inch. Its really comfortable. When I sit down i can't see the speedometer tho. This is as tall as my bars would go with out extensions. I just had to move the throttle cable and move a couple zip ties and it fit fine!

My bars are 2" with about 1" of upsweep. I think the risers are 6" and the pivot adaptor is 1.25". You can get Skinz bars like mine in pretty much any height you want now and they have built in hooks. I would rather have the 10" riser bars than all the riser hardware and seperate bars.

Here is my bar riser (bars now have handguards);

Stock bars with Powermadd Pivot Adapter and Pivot block for about 5.25" rise over stock. I like the setup, but I need it just a little higher for standing, which I do most of the time. I'm thinking this summer that I'll get some aftermarket bars and go with a higher rise.

Setup on my ZR. I was going for a certain look, but also had to be functional, and also tall enough so that I did not have to bend at all to reach the handlebars. Lots of money later, and you see what I ended up with. I like the setup, but spent $300+ to do it.

Then we have my SnoPro. The steering post on the SnoPro was alot higher to begin with, so I didn't need quite the rise like I did my ZR. Being it came with a 4.5" pivot riser stock, I just swapped it out for a 6.5" with stock firecat bars. It works well, and was cheap. Again, it's tall enough that I don't have to bend over when standing. I've learned I like the straight "Sno-X" style bar better.

Here is my home made attempt at a riser. I still have some work to do on it but it's functional for now. I'll probably take and put a 1/4" chamfer on the edges and mill out some material so its not so bulky. This is 7" while stock was 4.5". Huge difference! I no longer have to lean over to hold on. I can ride standing up with out leaning. I can ride a lot harder and it seems that I have a lot more control. Best of all, total investment.....$0

Most 03 F7's should be able to go 8".

For the most part, the 03-06 chaincase models you can go with an 8" riser with no extensions. If you get a newer model with Diamond Drive, you can only go 6" without extending anything.

If I were riding a firecat, I probably would have went with a 10" riser, or a riser/bar combo equivalent there to. Being 6'3" has it's downfalls some days...

I like them alot i origanally was gonna go with the skinz 6" bars but Darin at Gravity works racing suggested the tag because they are about $30 cheaper and they have a 6 1/4" rise in them so i figured wth and got some grips too i like how they turned out.
