i want to ceramic coat my stock mach pipes , question is is it safe to do this ? they are the center dump style and the heat shield is wearing off ,will it throw too much heat if i take the heat shield off?
and has anyone ever coated there stock pipes ?

It should be fine to coat the stock pipes. The coating should hold heat in the pipes so I don't things will get too hot. Plus, the ceramic shold give you a nice looking touch under the hood.
