If the engine doesn't have injection, you have to premix. Oil into the gas, mixture into the gas tank.

haha i know that, thats not my question
i blew up my 440 motor and got another one.. on this one, i am not going to be running an oil pump, so i will just premix my gas instead.. but im just wondering how the crank case gets lubed when you dont use an oil pump? there is a nipple inlet in the center of the crankcase on the carb side and i dont know what i am supposed to be running into that inlet.. if anyone doesnt understand and would need to see pictures i can take some and post them

Your intake charge goes from the carbs to the crankcase, up the transfer ports, and into the cylinder to get burned. Your intake charge has fuel, air, and oil. The oil gets on everything in your motor.

Some motors have crank bearing lube issues if you pre-mix, as the case needs to be drilled properly to allow the oil to drip down into the bearings. The 04 440 was notorious for this.

The 'doo premix sleds use a drip bottle to lube the middle bearings.

If it has the oil lines still there from the injector and also going to the oil can. If the oil can is higher, then let it stay connected and it will gravity feed a little oil to the crank area when the motor is running due to suction in the crank case when the pistons goes up hence leaving some lube to the bearings but unfortunately not enough to lube the whole engine so you will still need to pre mix to lube the rest of the motor. If you don't believe me just leave the oil line off the nipple and it will leak all over the lower engine compartment.
