With or without a rebuild, how many miles have you racked up on the odometer?
This was my 2000 550 Supersport before we traded it in. I think they gave us 2 grand for it too.

I had almost 9800miles on my old 97 cougar. Some guy I was talking to had almost 18,000 miles on his sled, but 4 rebuilds.

Dads 700 is at 8300. Its had a hard life, and has seen 100+ many many times. Its still running strong, but i think it has a exhaust leak or something. It just screams, and sounds amazing. If we are still going up this weekend it should have around 9000 by next Tuesday.

My 04 F7 has close to 12,000 with one rebuild. My dad's pretty anal about upkeep on all our sleds, it shows when they get to be older.

Its an XCR 440. The 440's were twins but all the other XCR's were triples.

I know a guy that has an '03 Rev that was at almost 12,000 before the crank gave out and took out the case. Only thing done was a top end refresh once.

My current sleds....prox 700 6500 miles, 97 xcr 440 6200 miles, 87 sport 340 8700 miles.

I used to trade up every 3 years. No sense in it when sleds don't change much and I am happy with my sleds. Also if you put new parts on a sled, doesn't that make it new, if so I have a new sled every year.

My current sled is a 2002 XC700SP with almost 15,000 miles on it. I bought it used & the previous owner maintained it very well. He never had the engine apart. Still has great compression & runs extremely well. I think the thing that helped this sled reach that number of miles, aside from good maintenance, is that it was ridden between 3,000 and 4,000 miles a winter. Even though I'm a Polaris fan I'd have to say this sled is unusual.

my father has had a 1993 VMax 800 4 cylinder that has 22,000 miles on it and still has its original engine in it. ive never quite heard of anything like it he use to ride that thing HARD. yet it still has a hell of alot more power than my SRX 700 triple. he can embarrass me on that vmax. he rides a rx-1 warrior now but its still fun to take out from time to time and embarass all those ski doo punks.

We have a 91' Indy Sport 440 with well over 15,000 miles maybe over 20,000. The odometer quit at 13,000 and it was ridden for a few good seasons after that. Still has original motor and I'm sure that if we pulled out of the shed that we could get it to run.

I make sh!t out of crap

Ditch Compacter- 2001 RMK 600 motor and suspension, 1999 RMK 700 chassis, Thundershift weights set up to 62g, almond/gold spring, SLP pipe and silencer, 136x1.75 track, 1994 indy 440 seat, 19-40 gears, 34 deg. helix,
