koso Dual EGT gauge - W/ quick probes started by jack1272

Anyone have experience with these. I just installed mine on my Polaris 800 Switchback. Only th (a) screen indicates a temp reading. The (b) screen is lit up but does not have a reading. I thought it might be the probes so I switched em, same thing. I am thinking my 300+ dollar gauge is junk. Any ideas.

sounds like a bad connection between the probe and the gauge, try bending the male ends slightly



2002 polaris 440 pro x chassis, 02 800 ves ported ,slp twins,boyesen reeds, racepack egt gauges, k&n filters and prefilters

Thank for the reply. I figured it out. The damn Koso company didnt solder on the white wire for the B side and the red B side wire was only on by 1 strand. I was a little pissed when I saw that. Gonna send SLP some pics on monday and hopefully get a new one on the way.
