Been searching on here and cant seem to find an answer besides 1/4" rivet. How long of a 1/4" rivet do i need on a 94 storm for the steel support plates for the rear suspension? And steel or ss rivets?
Thanks

I would say 1/4" SS rivets so they don't rust, and I would go with some that are 1/2"-5/8" long and use backer washers.

yea, whats that part number for? Just a plain regular 1/4" x 1/2" or 5/8" SS rivet? They have some weird looking ones in there now, not your average looking rivet.

I went to Car quest and picked up 1/4" pop rivets for window regulator, so far so good. Your going to need a pneumatic rivet gun to seat these suckers.

Hey, about how much were they? Are they steel or SS? I need to finish riveting some of my stuff, I checked at fastenal for the 1/4" SS and they were like $1-$1.50 each, something like that.

Neither, their aluminum peel type rivets. I pickup 28 for $15.00 or so

Oh, I see, if I am thinking right, the bottom side splits open? What are you using them on, where on the sled?

1/4" HAUK rivets work great and are strong as hell. You need a HAUK rivet gun though.
