    Has anybody ever put a 1997 polaris xlt in a pro x sled? i know y pipe goes under the rail but idk if the pipe will fit.

    is just got a dumping of like
    10-14" snow, this is after 10"
    Febuary 24th and 4" March
    first.

    IMO would be a stupid idea unless the XLT motor was real cheap or pretty much free. A 600 V.E.S conversion would be just as much $$ or cheaper, and 100 times easier, and make like 15 HP more, while being lighter, newer.

    ^ A 680 ultra motor u have to admit would be a cool idea or an xcr 800 but I would personally have the ultra motor with some slp pipes.

    An XCR 800 is about the only motor worth while doing this swap.

    local guy in my town has a xcr800 with a htg 1000 kit in an edge, I got to ride it around, pretty cool sled, traction is impossible to find though.

    ^ a 136 would probably help that traction problem out just a little.

    I know i have a blown 440 motor in it right now, all i need is a startor but i bought the sled for 500 bucks and had it on my hands for half a day before i sold it for 1000. It would have been something to do during the summer.
