just wanted to know what the hp of a 2004 700 polaris twin was? my friend has an 04 700 switchback and we were wondering if it was the same as a xc 700 04. we know the xc 700 would win in a shoot out but just curious if the power was the same. if not what is different and can/ should my buddy think about upgrading to xc 700 spec if there better.

p.s. he does not want to void the warranty so the work/parts have to come from polaris.

    cheers,

low 130's hp and yes both are same motor , just geared differently for switchback xc700 will win the races of course (hard pack, lake conditionsetc), but in the deep/fluffy stuff, now thats where switchback will shine at!!!
