Three of us took the 700 mile drive West to West Yellowstone the day after Christmas. The lack of snow here was (and still is) quite depressing, so on a search we went. The crew included RMK-KING, myself, (who both rented '08 RMK 700's) and a friend I'll call Reinisch (who rented a '08 M8).

We rode the 27/28. First day was a little cold...woke up to -15*F temps. Still managed to have a good time. Found a few nice powdery valleys. Second day was warmer, but blowing up high. We all got stuck a few times. Even had Reinisch flip his M8 up a small hill (highly entertaining).

I again highly enjoyed riding the RMK. I rented a '06 RMK 700 last year and loved it...I think this one was a bit nicer yet. It whooped up on the M8 in every aspect, or at least that's the way it seemed.

Anyway, enough with the chit-chat, here's a few pictures. [thumb]

Awesome, man, I wish we had a place to rent IQ's. The only rental place I know of where we sled only has junky revs, I hate that place, you walk in, they give you a key, and you walk out, you have to walk around looking for your sled, and start it yourself, they never come outside once to make sure it all works. And on top of that they make you drive a REV. AGGGHH. Awesome pics though, you buying a polaris now? lol

There was probably 3 feet right in town. Probably 4-6 feet higher...I don't know though. There's more than they had last year...should be a great beginning to their sledding season there.

Maybe a Polaris mountain sled...but I don't plan on living anywhere close to the mountains for quite awhile...so the odds are slim. Especially since I just picked up a new Cat. [beatup]

HAHA, I wish I could move to the mountains. Your new cat, is that the one in your aviator?

Yes, it is. I just made a new topic about it. You can view it HERE.
