Well with the lack of snow and the amount of free time I decided to try and get another project off the "Honey-do-list"

It's a trash cabinet made out of "Red Oak" of course(the wife would not except anything else).

The top will be a piece of MDF with glued on laminate w/ an oak 1/2" border around the edges and mitered at a 45% angle(I Know things will get messy up there so I decided not to go w/ an oak top) Just easier for cleaning. The drawer will be good for the bags and misc. crap.

Pay no attention to the messy garage.

Oh, come on, just use some fine quality wafer board(OSB)Attachment 194010
like I used on my cat house. That would have won you some points... Just say " Honey, times are hard"
BTW... It looks great, excellent craftsmanship!

Looks good Glenn did you make the door too?? Been thinking of starting some of the many projects I have lined up in the wood shop but I just can't seem to get the ambition to do it yet. Remember, a happy wife is a happy life!!! (PS, your garage is a mess[Disappointed][Disappointed][Disappointed])

Yep, made the door also. With the lack of snow it makes it easy to go out to the garage and get some projects done. And as far as the garage is concerned it's always messy. Always have thing going on out there from car repairs to projects. Plus I have limited space......us city folk dont have room for shops and garages with the limited land.[thumb]

I made something very similar to that in high school. I still have it in my room but it needs a leg or two sanded down. Yours looks great!

That really came out nice!!! I bet it is costly for the solid wood but not as expensive as buying a finished project.

Total cost for the wood was under $100.00 I buy it from a guy I know.
