    Its possible. Ive seen a 159 rmk edge turned into a 162 2.5.

    Yes I see no reason why I couldnt be done, but Ive heard from a few people that the 166" track is not a good boondocker or powder track. It is pretty much strickly for goin up(hill climbin). IMO I would say get a 159" or a 151" but have fun whatever you do.

    Longest Track, or largest footprint

    Polaris, Arctic Cat, Skidoo and even Yamaha all build wide track utility sleds. All have 156 x 20 tracks. If you do the math, a common 15 inch wide track would have to be 207 inches long to have the same footprint.
    Ski-doo also makes a Super-Wide Track sled that has a 156 x 24 track
    A 15 inch wide track would need to be 248 inches long to cast the same shadow.
