    only 86 horse i thought it would be more my 583 rotax puts out about 110 what does a 500 indy efi put out

    They don't have horsepower ratings but they have how much it weighs and other stuff. A 500 efi probably puts out 80 horses. Remember that your 583 had exhaust valves and was way more advanced for it's time then the Polaris motors. 110 still sounds kinda high for that motor.

    i was told a 582 without raves gets 90 to 95 horse and the 583 witch is a single coil 582 with raves produces 105 115 horse but that was just what i heard not dyno proven it must be the gearing that makes the difference as my summit 583 seems to have more bottom end and the 600 seems to just keep going in the top

    86 is about right for that motor. The Polaris 650's made around 90-95 w/o pipes. It's an older motor, old technology and its prolly getting tired on compression depending on miles so it might make less than that.

    it was rebuilt about 800 k ago and it has pipes and blows my buddys 91 indy 500 efi out of the water

    Maybe compare it to a similar sled that does have the weight posted in the stats?
