Need some help with a spark plug issue. Just bought 98 xlt 600 sled and doing some maint stuff, found BP7-ES plugs in it, looks like they have been in there for awhile pretty old, called the dealer and he said should be using BP8-ES. Sled runs good, idles good. Is it ok to use the 7's or should i go to the 8's?

The 7's are too hot. I believe BR8Es is the correct plug, but you can run 9's, they are just a bit cooler. Gap should be .028.
