Is the computer flashing? If so count the flashes that will give a code just like cars do. 2nd has the TPS been adjusted? If not that can cause that as well. I went through that same situation with my '92 500 EFI. It has to be set at 4.0 iirc when the throttle is fully opened. There is a thread listed below with instructions on how to use your laptop to use the software to check out the system, including buying the cable iirc. I did my TPS adjustment another way though I built a homemade TPS tester from a video on Youtube for 15 bucks roughly at Radioshack and adjusted it following his instructions and it worked perfectly.

Ok I brought this sled and had to replace one of the injector plugs but it ran before that according to the person I bought it from but I will check that stuff out

Those EFI's can be a pain but when they are running normal they are great sleds. Mine is a backup sled upgraded to Xtra-10 suspension w/ Fox Shocks, that made a world of a difference. 7K+ miles on it and still going strong with no rebuild other then clutches and a sensor. Also if you ever have to replace the fuel filter don't buy the Polaris one as it is outrageously expensive, you can get a Wix that is the same bloody one for 10-15 bucks last time I checked Part number Wix number is 33023, much better then 70 bucks and is the same bloody filter

    Part Details

There is thread someplace that has the Polaris manuals for download but you can also pickup aftermarket one from Clymer but imho just download this and look through it on your computer. Ugly Poo Kid was nice enough to upload a ton of them. Just click the download file under the picture.
