If it works better installed on the cover plate, why not change to where it will work best? The cover plate is also where the fitting is to be installed on TM flatslides.

A fitting can be bought from an auto parts store. May require a little filing. Been there, done that.

    Been looking. 2 part epoxy?

I have a set of bars off a indy trail with throttle, brake and caps off carbs. Should be the same. Going to clean them up and drill for port.

Can someone measure there caps to see if they are the same..... 1 9/16" inside diameter.

Below is my install of the T-Flow in one of the 440s. The boost bottle has since been removed and the holes plugged. No need for a boost bottle on small block Polaris twins and can actually cause a reduction in hp according to reputable sources.

did you drill the port at an angle on purpose to miss spring and slide?

Going to drill a cap I found. Just need to get a fitting and figure where to drill it.

Just drill it as cose to the cable as you can get it while still getting the hose on. That way you will avoid the spring. 1 Tip would be to just slightly bend up the end of the spring wire so it does not catch the fitting.

Mine would catch when tightening or removing the cap anytime I would clean the carbs or change needle settings, spring got a litle buggered up. Since I did this it has been fine.
