What performance gains if any would I be looking at? How would ya know how to jet throwing on a set of flatslides? Is there any must have mods before using either one. I have stock 38's on there now. Looking for more info. Thanks in advance.

if you went to a mikuni TM series flat slide you would probably carry the same main jets over and work from there. the flat slide will give you better low end snap and mid range will be a little smoother response as well.
the bored out round slides will give a slight bog at low speed and when cruising to punching it there will be more of a bog. but on the top end they will make more power than stock round slides. the flat slides will flow about the same air as bored out round slides on top end.
will the flatslides fit in the same intake manifolds and airbox boots?
Depends on which style rack carbs you use.
can you get individual carbs in a flat slide?
^^ Yes you can get individual carbs, I've seen them for sale in Dennis Kirk. I always wondered what the rack was for, are they adjustable at all?
is the prox triple mod is for
Racks rock vs individual carbs. They're just as adjustable as individual, but easier. One knob adjusts the idle. Only 1 throttle/choke cable.
