583 to 670 engine swap

I was just wondering how hard/ or easy it would be to swap out my 583 for a 670 rotax?
This is in a 97 summit.
Need the engine mounting plate, CDI and carbs. It is an s-chassis sled, so these motors were pretty interchangeable with the items mentioned above. You may want to re-clutch as well once you have the 670 in the machine to make sure optimum power is being utilized. Not sure if the wiring harness is the same, but I am sure someone here can tell you for sure.
swap is no prob but you will need to talk to a dealer if the 583 cdi will work (i can't remember if it dose or not)
rejet your 583 carbs to 670 specs
you will need a 670 clutch (583 and 670 are different tapers on the crank shaft)
583 mount will work
wiring will be the same

583 and 670 exhaust are the same part numbers. Direct bolt in. Go for it.
Hey i did a 583 to 670 engine swap in my 97 summit just a couple weeks ago. Youll need 40 or 44mm carbs and the flywheel, stator, trigger coil, and clutch. The 583 and 670 exhaust are the exact same.
