I have a 76 El Tigre 4000 (Arctic Cat), and it starts up and runs fine as long as I dont let right off the throttle. I am wondering why I can not let it sit and idle, and if anyone knows how to fix this problem?
    Thanks

If your sitting on the sled, there are are two screws on the right side of the carbs that adjust the idle speed. They have like rounded edges so that you can do it by hand. Make sure they are both the same and you should be good to go! If this is confusing just ask me to clarify. Have a good day

Why do you post the hole question in the header of your post then retype it in again?? And as for the idel turn the screw in till it comes up to around 1500 rpms.

Throttle safety switch. Take some slack out of the throttle cable.
