resently got this sled up and running and the sled starts and runs fine... it seems to pull hard at low end then falls on its face at mid and top. I know nothing about cat clutches and am using this sled for vintage snocross racing. Any ideas on what to do?

Is the belt being pulled all the way into the secondary, can it climb all the way to the top of the primary?

Weights and certain ramps are still available from Cat. High Performance Engineering has short hex bushings.

    That is an incorrect statement.
You can still find parts for those through a Parts Unlimited catalog.
