Can anyone tell me what is the max comp ratio I can run on a series III 800 being run at about 800 feet? I have done the following mods: Dynoport Pipe and Boyseen reeds and spacers. I just bought a speedworks 13:1 head that is recommended for a ported engine. I'm courious if I can safely run this on a none ported engine with 91 octane? If not is there a way to lower the compression slighly so it will work?

Mabey you should talk to Speedworks

What is your compression, you may need to run a high octane fuel if it is too high

To lower your compression is to add a thicker base gasket or a spacer under your jugs, but then your port timing is all screwed up
