And now its snowing here..it was 80 degrees the other day, now we have 2 inches of snow...If you know whats going on please tell me because this is weird!
It is about 70 degrees here. We started baseball and golf so the snow is over...i think. Im kind of ready to go to the river and stuff anyways!
Hey there, we usually call it a 4 wheeler is my neck of the woods, but whatever works to get the point across also works. They are called for another 8-10 inches of snow thursday and friday. Its crazy we have been outside in shorts and a t-shirt for golf and baseball practice now snow..what the hell?! Oh well, not much you can do about it..except ride!
We just got 8 inches of snow! I put on about 100 miles, but by the end of the day we probably only had 5 inches. But still fun having one last ride!
That picture with the snowmen, there was like 4 inches on the ground but it all melted the next day. I was sad. We were suppose to get 4-8 inches and i was pumped and it hit us pretty weak. We have a chance for more like 3 times the next week. I guess we will see how it goes.
P.S. I havent been on AIM much you know that? I have been wayyyy busy. Sorry!
Haha yea it was snowing and i was bored so i went and made a snowman, its almost tipped over now though(less than 24 hours later) because its like 40 degrees here. And this snow storm that was going to drop all this snow, missed us just like every other storm. Ah well it was still a good year!

Looks like my SRX 600 will be a 700 within two weeks, also with a 136 track on it. I cant wait, around 138HP:D!!
Our trip to the hills was great, except the fact that the engine in my SRX blew up :( We are going to rebuild it though, it will cost a lot which sucks. But oh well, i still have one sled for the season in case we get more snow, which i doubt we will but who knows. How is snowmobiling going for you?
Haha yes i did get some food eventually. That is kind of bittersweet you got stuck in a snow storm trying to go snowmobiling. Nice pictures by the way, looks like you had fun! I can wait for this weekend, but its sucks knowing it might be my last right of the season since its basically march already :(
Guess who has reservations to go snowmobiling again this weekend in the Black Hills...me! We had a problem with my arctic cat last time, so we are trying to fix it and bring it back out to see how it performs. The guy i bought it from said it ran like a champ...yea right, we have been fighting this thing more than anything...oh well when we get it running it will run better than he ever had it! When do you head out? Dont forget to post some pics when you get back!!
We finally made it back, they have about 5-6 feet of snow and also got dumped on with a foot and a half while we were there. I have some pics on a thread,

we have about 6 inches right now, it just had to snow the week i leave for the hills!! Oh well its a win/win situation for me now :D I put on about 60 miles tonight and also managed to get frostbite on my nose, that means i rode hard :P haha. Any snow your way yet?!
6 feet would be great, more than great perfect!! Sorry about not being on AIM, around my neck of the woods everyone uses MSN and it usually never dawns on me to go on it, but i will try to be on more! But with some bad news..with me starting school this fall i was tossing around the idea of selling my arctic cat because (1)we never get enough snow and (2) i will need money. BUT i will still have my dad 98 SRX to ride which is nothing to complain about. I leave in 9 days for the Black Hills!!! only part that sucks is rejeting :( i am not very engine smart yet and my dad is making me do everything so i know how to do it, nothing wrong with learning about snowmobiles! But i suppose, i basically wrote you a novel so i will let you go :P Bye!
Haha, thats about 800 miles on minimal snow though. Cant complain in the least bit though. All of our snow is gone and its 40 degrees and has been for like that last week. They are calling for freezing rain tonight and 2 inches of snow on monday. We do need more snow because i cant even ride right now. But i am leaving for the Black Hills again on Presidents Day weekend!!! I will be sure to take plenty of pics!
Looks like you had a good time! Nice pictures to. I wish we had that much snow, it was like 50 degrees that last two days and melted it all. But there is a river that is a slow flowing river and winding, well it finally froze enough so today we rode it, put on 100 miles today and yesterday. It was my first time on a river and crossing open water and it was a blast, but i was nervous at first but then i realized if i just held it wide open i couldnt even tell it was water. Now i just hope we get more snow!

Long time no talk, hows the snow? It sucked here for the longest time but now we is as good as it gets. My arctic cat is really pissin me off right nwo tho, damn carbs freeze up real easy and one of the carb boots(brand new this year) is all jacked up. But how are things for you?

Well Thank you, the snowmobiling has been great. I have about 350 miles so far and we just got back from the Black Hills. I didnt get to bring my snowmobile so i rode one of my buddies, but it was still fun. No im going riding right now! How has the snow been for you?
We leave for the Black Hills the 26th for three days of snowmobiling! But they only have 3 inches of snow...ugh i will be depressed if they dont get a few feet. You go riding yet?

It rained?! Thats depressing. I think you should go up to where you snowmobile and ride a little..few hundred miles;). Our snow is slowly but surely melting. I did get 120 miles into so far though. But i also managed to rolled my SRX, luckily my leg was inbetween it and the ground and broke the fall:P and nothing happened, whew. I think we both need a lot of snow...!
That sucks, you need to get out riding! I put on 63 miles today. It sucks because last night we had about 6 inches, but then it all settled to about 3 or 4. Oh well, it was still fun!

Well the 3-5 inches the forcasted, turned into just a dusting. I swear my area gets the shaft on all the good storms that hit the area, oh well, we will get it, eventually i hope!
No other riding other than that mile i did earlier, but snow late tonight through tomorow and they are talking 3-5 inches, so its getting a little better! You dont need to study!!haha just snowmobile ;)
Haha, we have a chance for more on Wednesday and Thursday. With my luck we wont get anything, probably all be north again. I did get to ride for like a mile the other day tho! Hopefully you get the snow expected!
