auction mishaps

Made my way to the november PARR sled auction in Fergus ON.
Amazing weather (warm and sunny) for a auction but wow only 38 sleds
I heard the auctioneer was wanting 10% of the sale price..its no wonder the turnout was so low
Perhaps a more reasonable number like 4% would have drew a larger collection.
I have been to that yearly auction ever sense I could walk and Im alwaya amazed what people will pay for garbage!
I guess someone after the auction came to collect his machine that didnt sell and it was gone!
the original owner still had the ownership but the sled compound was empty when he went to get it back.
someone did a big opps!!
