I have a 97 580 zr that boggs out at 7000 RMPs can get alittle more out of it if you slowly accelerate. We pintched of the return fuel line coming out of the pressure regulator and it helped alittle bu still doesnt have the power it should to or bottem end the timing is off so I did some research and found that the timing is controled electronicly so I opened the ECU and there is a chip they call a " block chip" i am wondering if this would control the timing and would the timing being off cause it to act like it does?
