Still no snow

Had a big storm come through, dumped a lot of snow every where but here. About 4". We still have a lot of snow at Corona pass so I may head over that way. We have rode there as late as June, but the winter hasn't been much so another couple weeks and it will be time to put the sleds up till next season. Such is life.

Colorado Sledding

This year snow in the northern Colorado Rockies wasn't as good as previous years. We just didn't get the snow. Powder sleds just ain't no fun on groomed trails. We've had a lot of logging due to dead trees. Log piles and high stumps made for interesting riding this season. I'm bummed because I made several suspension adjustments and raised the bars 3' at the end of last season. I was looking forward to hitting the mass quantity's of awesome powder we get from December to April. One time this season, and my sled rocked! There's always next season, and this season isn't over quit yet. It's not uncommon to have a late season dump of 4 to 6 feet.
