Back to work
Posted December 25th 2007

well tonight is my first day back to work in 9 days, I didn't get snowed in at work last weekend and was able to get some riding in. Though it wasn't as much as I wanted, the snow was great and the 136" performed great.

Well 5 hours left tonight and then the hour drive home. I hope all of my fellow SF'ers had a great Christmas and was lucky enough to get everything that they wanted.

temps in the 40's
Posted December 21st 2007

Well the big storm we received last weekend has all but been ruined. Temperatures in the upper thirties and lower fourties has managed to melt most of the snow, we still have about two maybe three inches in spots that are in the open. Fence rows and side of the roads still have close to 6 maybe 8 inches, but riding to those areas across fields is damn near impossible.

Here are a couple of pictures of the rev with the extended track in the snow a few days ago, sitting in front of the house, I rode it about forty feet from where it was sitting in these pictures so that I could put it up until the next snow.

Hopefully more snow will arrive this weekend, I'm hoping to get some more riding in before I have to go back to work on Christmas Night.

Big Storm on its way
Posted December 15th 2007

Snow is about one county away right now at 03:55 am on Saturday 12-15-2007. The National weather service is predicting 6" to 10" of snowfall tonight and more snow throughout the day on Sunday. Snowfall throughout today will be around 3". We are also looking at winds at around 15 - 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. So blowing and drifting snow will be a factor with this storm.

It looks like last winter went out with a bang as our last snowfall was a blizzard. This winter seems to be picking up right were it left off last February. Bring on the SNOW, I just hope that I don't get snowed in at work, Tonight is my last night of work until Christmas night and I'm really looking forward to playing in the white stuff again.

today is the day

Hopefully they won't total it out, the car has a little over 152,000 miles on it, however the motor itself is a little over 65,000 miles on it. I replaced the motor a few months back when the car was around 138,000 miles. So overall the car with the exception of the body damage that it now has is in really decent shape.

oh well, I guess if they total it out, I'll have to buy it back and fix it myself. It's hard to let go of such a good car, plus the gas mileage is hard to beat.

It seems like just yesterday it was Feb. The year really has gone by quick, I can't believe we are just 22 days away from Christmas. We received our first taste of winter weather yesterday.

I also was able to make some minor repair's to my car, after Friday nights excursion or run in with a 6 point buck.

I could say that I hit him but it was the other way around. Anyways I'm out of here for the day, I put up some pics of my car after Mr. Buck decided to roll down the side.
