Better sled?

I have a question for all those smart sledders out there: what should i get, a 1996 polaris XLT indy trail 600 triple,studs, 3200 miles, for 400 dollars, runs fine.
OR a 97 polaris Storm 800, triple, with only 400 miles, studs, for 1500?
I would get the storm in a heartbeat if i had the money, but its gonna take me a couple weeks to get it, and if i wait that long the 600 will dissapear in a heartbeat. Let me know what you think.
