    Hay Days

I took my first trip to Hay Days. repeat visitors say it's getting priced out of existence. I may have to agree on that.
The cost of 2 day gate fees and campsite alone was $125 for 3 of us. It was cool to see all great sleds, the races, and riding gear.
But the bang for the buck just wasn't there. If the gate fee and camping were say $20 for a weekend pass and a
campsite for another $20 things would be much easier to digest. The grass drags and RZR racing were totally awesome though.

Overall we burned up $400 on ??????

The good thing is how generous the Barons are with their money.

I spent 400 on lodging and 300 on car rental,(I hit a deer with my car and one with my truck in the week prior) 150 in gas, parking, and entry. It was worth every penny as well as the 1 day of driving back and forth. People should see and attend the 20 dollar a day race swaps here in Michigan and then tell me the Haydays is not worth the parking/entry. It is a frikkin bargin

Haydays was a big bummer this year. I've swapped there the last 7 years, with great success. This year I tried to sell two Polaris sleds (XCSP 800 & Pro-X 700 @ $2300 each) and a New Arctic cat Mud Pro 700 and never got an offer or a price discussion on any of them... Last year I sold 3 sleds before 10AM on Saturday... Not sure why...

I also thought the foot traffic was rather low this year. Sitting at the swap spot, the traffic level at 11am made was typical of 4pm in past years.
