Hey Minnesotans (Or anyone else for that matter)

Last weekend, for the first time in what has felt like 10 years, I personally rendered our snow total here in Detroit Lakes to be 'enough to ride on'. So early in the week I rounded a group of guys and put a plan together to head out early that Saturday. We ended up putting on about 80 miles over 6 hours or so.
It was a feeling I haven't felt in a long time. It felt like I was seeing the ditches and lakes through my 16 year old eyes. We haven't had ride-able snow in a few years here, and after owning my XF 800 for a couple of winters now with 10 miles to show for it, I finally got to ride it hard for a day.

Although my hardcore sledding days are temporarily on hold for the moment, I had a severe feeling of nostalgia throughout last Saturday, I think all of us did.

Now this week we've had 3-4 straight days of above freezing temperatures which as in turn killed our snow. Back to square one. Was just wondering if anyone else who has had any 0 mile winters lately, had the opportunity to get out and enjoy it as well. Cheers!!

I just rode the DL area last night with a buddy. We put on 50 miles. It was some skilled ditch riding and Vergas Trails for us.
Come ride with us sometime if you want.

It has been a nice change seeing sled tracks in the ditches, let alone sleds out and about! Too bad the weather couldn't cooperate. The warm temps and rain this weekend really killed the snow.

I geared up for the first time in two years, though it wasn't local. I rode West Yellowstone a week ago. It felt good to get some miles on again, however, I didn't miss getting stuck at all.

Since 2012 I have about 150 miles on a sled. Between low snow and work its been hard to find the time to ride. So I sold my Procross and got back into a fun 06 Sno pro little ditch banger to work on and ride when we do get some snow.

I rode Island Park a few years back with my old RMK in the edge chassis. What a pig, it was almost no fun!

Achotrod, I seen your pictures of that sled. Perfect little ripper for someone time strapped. I almost went that route myself before I got the XF. Nice ride!

XCRacer, I was up at Ice Cracking at about 1 in the afternoon, counted 89 sleds outside the bar. Feels all day.

I love this little sled. My F8 was awesome but I just couldn't justify it anymore. This is more fun(for me)and perfect for what I do these days. We do need snow though!

New/old one. But they probably have about the same miles.
