    Polaris p85 buttons

I ordered a clutch rebuild kit for my 97 storm and it was one of those spx kits from gamma. Nothing fit properly and the buttons were too thick, they stuck out too much to get the spider to go in the moveable sheave. So I bought all Polaris stuff and everything is good except the buttons are still way too thick. Yes they are all the way in. And all the buttons are the same part number for the p85 so I have the right ones. Anyone else ever have this problem ?

    Thanks

even with no shims the buttons are jamming? I have never experienced this problem. I can only suggest that you check that the roller pin is centered and not holding the button out from the bore on one side or the other. normally the towers on the movable sheave wear and the buttons are too loose. The towers especially tend to wear at the top of the ramps
