Can you swap sliding sheaves on your primary?

I found some very serious cracks in my primary clutch and was wondering if I could swap the sheave from a different clutch that is not cracked onto the one on my motor because I do not have the means to remove my clutches.
    Thanks
    Josh

NO. It has to be a matching, balanced unit. You can piece it together but you have to have the whole assy. balanced.

As long as they are both liberty and carberated motors then yes you can.
The fuel injected engines have a different taper.
The fuji motor clutches also are different.

Just remember to use the clutch bolt for the 98 and not the sled the clutch came off of.
