    how much slack do u leave in track i just put new boggies in and new slides and want to know how much slack to leave. is it like an inch from bottom of slides?

    If you pull down with ten pounds of force in the middle of the slide you should get 1 to 1-1/2 inchs. I use a fish scale.

    As loose as you can get it without it ratcheting. hotrod is also right. That is what most manuals say to do. 10lbs of force about 16" in front of idlers should give you 1"-1.5" of free play in the track.
