i start my sled (91indy650) it started in the normal 3 4 pulls to it around the yard shut it off went to house to get gear for ride went to start it back up no recoil action at all. so im like %$#%.
took it apart and found a mess of stuff. the nut and washer came of flywheel and ate at the recoil parts.

so i put a new pawl kit in recoil and put the nut back on flywheel. it seem to be working find in basement to warm to ride right now to test it.

y do you guy think the nut came off fly wheel

Someone probably had the flywheel off at some time and did not use loc-tight when reinstalling the nut.

If you torqued it down the the correct spec you shouldn't have an issue.
