Hi all, I have a 99 XC SP 600 with a boost bottle installed and it really helps with performance. I also own a 02 Classic touring (love the travel) 600 VES. I am considering putting a boos bottle on it but wanted to know if anyone has tried this with a VES engine and if it made a big enough change in performance to warrant the installation?

I have heard that VES engines don't gain much from boost bottles. But I don't have direct experience with it.

[V] Boost bottle. May smooth out idle some but other than that just a waste of money. IMHO[^]

Save your money. Boost bottles are for people who don't know how to jet their motor. The same thing can be acomplished by changing jets. Riley

If boost bottles were neccesary the manufacturer would buid the sled with them.
just use the hole to hold your spare plugs....

on the big blocks with kiehins ,the b.bottle helps with the burble and throttle response,

as far as holding spark plugs,Are guys still doing that,To Funny.

As offshore said ,ves motors with mikunis don,t gain much.
