I just bought a brand new non-current switchback 800 and i just want to know whats different between the regular switchback and the dragon switchback. I know the shocks, bars/risers and windshield are different but clutching, gearing and engine configurations are the same? just want to know for reference when looking into aftermarket parts like a can or clutch kit. thanks.

You listed most everything. Depending on year they could have different tracks too

ok, mine is a 2010. it has the 1.25 ripsaw which is pretty much standard on most of the iq chassis sleds.

You got it. Shocks are the main thing, but the engine/clutch/gear set-ups are the same.

And some people would argue that the Waler Evans Clickers are worst than the Ryde FX ones on the plain SB.

Everything from a 2010 Dragon SB 800 will work on a 2010 SB 800. Same engine set ups. I reccomend a PCV. As I own a 2010 Dragon SB, I would say thats the best thing you can do. Not the biggest HP gain, but it protects from the imfamous 800 Liberty CFI-4 lean zone from 5000RPM's to 7000ish RPM's.

There is a little gain on the Power Commander, But I have the PV-III not the newest model, PC-V. The PC-V is self-tuning, so it's more of a safety for the engine.
