"); }so i got my sled out of storage yesterday, topped off the coolant, took it for a short ride and when i got back there was coolant steam coming out around the spark plug farthest from the water pump. i took the plug out and more steam came out. i don't know what could cause this, what do you guys think? on an 1998 polaris XLT btw.

What's the compression read on each cylinder?
Not sure if there's a water jacket cover on top of the head, but that gasket could be bad. Otherwise, sounds like a head gasket to me also.
Seems to be a lot of posts about this. There is also 3 o-rings around the spark plug well in the head. Look at REF #5 in this view. https://www.polarispartshouse.com/oe...1bb61/cylinder
