hey just wondering if any of you know whats wrong with my 1976 polaris 340 electra? i just picked it up a month ago i had it running but it seems to have a tendancy to bog down till it stalls then it will not start. yestaerday i got it running and it had a good idle so i let it run for a bit, i took it once around my block and the thing dies it just seems to keep flooding itself. i cleaned out the carbs could it be a carb issue or what do i need to do to fix the problem? also gas is leaking out one exhaust port. if you have an idea let me know
    thanks mike

You need new needle and seat prob. Cound be a stuck float too though. Youll also need to drain your block cause it sounds like its full of gas.

your floats might be sticking. That happened on my zr. Or you might need new needle and seats.
