Been working on swapping in a 680 triple/triple in my 01 edge. Got the motor all mounted and just finished modding the wedge slp pipes to fit the edge chassis. Took a stock xcr700 can and modded it to work wth the pipes to keep noise down.

Thats so clean and neat. Not all cluster-f**ked. Very nice job. It looks like it was supposed to be.

Thanks! It still needs a bit of work, but ive got all summer. Anyone know where to get the secoundary clutch spacers? I need some that are thicker.

Fired her up last night. Sounds nice. Should be blasting it accross the yard in a few days if all goes well. Ill try and get a video of its first voyage

That's an Ultra motor.
They respond VERY well to the combonation of PSI mod blaster pipes with SLP power dome heads.
Jet and clutch accordingly, and it will kill most 800 twins every day of the week for as long as you can keep it pinned.

Nice clean swap!! Looks really good. You had a good idea on using that can.[thumb]

Now we just have to wait for some video.


What kind of ignition wires are those???

Those sure look like old-school Accel copper-core wires.

Yes there accels, they where on it when i got it. Just waiting for my new throttle cable to come in and ill get a video up
